Women's Corps League Champions 2024
The Army Women's Corps Football Leagues were concluded at the impressive facilities at Harborough Town FC on Wednesday 27 March.
The Channing Day Division 1 Champions were Army Medical Services who were promoted to the Division last season.
In the Lily Parr Division 2, Royal Artillery lifted the trophy overtaking Adjutant Generals Corps on goal difference on the final day to gain promotion at the expense of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
The awards were presented by our Women's Corps Sponsors F5 represented by Grant Martin and WO1 Jody Cannadine, a close friend of Channing Day. Channing was a bright, enthusiastic and formidable young leader from 3 Medical Regiment, whose life was sadly taken in October 2012 whilst deployed on Op HERRICK in Afghanistan.
The Army FA are grateful to F5 for their continued support of Women's Corps Football and to Harborough Town for providing excellent facilities for the event.
The Edwards Cup Final will conclude the Women's Corps season at Cirencester Town FC on Wednesday 15 May.
