New Head Coach of the Army Women's Senior Team Appointed

After an extensive and impressive interview process with a high quality of candidates WO2 Ryan McDowell AGC (SPS) has been appointed to the role of Head Coach of the Army Women’s Senior Team.

Experienced within the Women’s game Ryan was the Head Coach of the Adjutant General Corps (AGC) between 2011 and 2018. During this period his team won the Corps League twice and remained unbeaten in consecutive seasons. In addition, they also won the Edwards Challenge Cup and End of Season Tournament twice.

Since then, he has been the Army Women’s Development Squad Head Coach for the previous 3 seasons where numerous players have made the set-up from Development to Senior Football. He has deputised for the Senior Team Head Coach as well and has also been part of the Inter Service set up.

Outside of the Army he is currently a coach for Scarborough Reserves who play in the Humber Premier League.
