Unit Football Plans 2020-21
Due to Covid-19 and the disruption it has caused us all during the 19/20 season, the Secretary Army Football has declared that all Affiliation, Challenge Cup entry (Minor, Major and Reserves) and League entry will be free this season. We hope that this will in part, make up for the loss of participation since March 20.
Player Registration
Following new FA guidelines for this season, it is compulsory that all players be registered through your WGS portal and then submitted to your League Secretary for approval. Please follow the guides contained in the DIN attached.
It will be priority to monitor and drive compliance to ensure completion of the above and I will be happy to support and assist you through the process, if required.
Recommencement of Football – Covid-19
Approval to the recommencement of football must be authorised by Army HQ on the recommendation of ASCB. To this we are currently preparing a business case, roadmap and risk assessment package that will be submitted to the ASCB upon completion for consideration. Once authorisation is provided each individual fixture and activity will require a risk assessment. Please see attached in-depth Covid-19 update for the coming season.
