The Army Women’s Team rounded off a good series of matches in the Southern Counties Competition with a 1-0 win away to Jersey on 13 February. Cpl Demi Edwards (AMS) scored the winning goal.
This was the Army’s fourth match in the competition which had been successfully reintroduced this season for the first time since it was halted by Covid in 2020.
The Army are currently in second place in the table and depending on the result in last match in the competition between Middlesex and Essex on the 13 March they could well finish in Runners Up position.

Earlier in the week the Women’s Team were able to make two player presentations. Receiving her Army Colours was 2Lt Gabby Collett (R Signals) and we finally caught up with Cpl Imogen Fisher (AMS) to give her the Player of the Season 2022/23 award. Congratulations to both players on their well deserved achievements.
