A vacancy for the position of Head Coach for the Army Men’s Team has become available and applications to fill the position are now being invited. Only serving or Reserve Soldiers may apply.
The position plays a fundamental role in the development and delivery of Men’s Football and TORs for the position are attached. The aim is to select the Head Coach ahead of season 21-22.
Eligibility. In addition to the TORs the position requires strong administrative, communication and inter personal skills and a thorough knowledge of Army football through playing, coaching or managing.
Applications. Applications must include a short Personal Statement setting out why the candidate should be considered for the role. The application should also include a CV setting out the individual’s experience and including relevant qualifications and positions.

Sift and Short List. If required, the Personal Statements and CVs will be used to down-select to 3-4 applicants, who will be called forward for interview at a date to be advised.
Interview. An interview panel comprising of the Trustee Representative Football, a Board Member and an Independent Member (IM) will be constituted. Interviews are likely to be in early July and details will be confirmed after the sift and short list stage. Interviews can be held either face-to-face or via VTC or by phone, if appropriate
