Colonel David Jones Supporting Kosovo

Background Colonel David Jones served in Kosovo, as Adviser to the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force [KSF] from January 2014 to January 16.

Whilst living in Kosovo he was very involved in sports especially football and supporting disadvantaged groups at various levels and maintained the link with the country and its people since, returning home to the UK.

 

 On a recent visit, in October 19, with his Army FA Trustee hat on he was able to support the KSF Women’s Football team with a new team kit and was also able to help One to One Children’s Fund, a charity working with disabled children and young people, with donated England FA shirts and other sports merchandise.

David also made a presentation of money he raised by running the 2019 Belfast Marathon to One to One Children’s Fund.
