Replacing The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football Course
The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football has now been replaced by Introduction to Coaching Football. We are excited to take you on this new journey to help you become the best coach you can be.
Unfortunately there are no available dates.
The provisions for this course will be controlled by The FA directly from April 2021. Prior to this time, the County FA will not be running any further face to face sessions.
You can read about the changes here. If you haven’t already, we would recommend completing The FA Playmaker; this is a new course for anyone who is interested in taking a more active role in grassroots football. You can learn more about the course, and access it here.
If you have attended up to a minimum of workshop 2 of your FA Level One Course in a face to face environment with Army FA prior to December 2020 and are within your registration period, FA Education will assist you with completing the remainder of your course.
You should have received an e-mail from FA Education with details of how you can complete the remaining aspects of your course in a digital format. If you have not been contacted with details, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have started a FA Level One course, you are given a two year registration period by 1st4sport to complete all aspects of the course, this includes all online modules. You must also have a valid FA First Aid & FA safeguarding Children qualification at the point of completion.
The FA Level One certificates are produced by 1st4sport directly and will be posted out. These usually follow 8 - 12 weeks from the date of completing all aspects of the course (including online modules). If you have not received your certificate after this timeframe, please contact 1st4sport on 0113 290 7610 or email@example.com .
