Roadshow- Huge Success
Last year the Road Show successfully visited six professional clubs and their summer youth programmes, reaching 100s of Under 18s and their families. Building on last year’s success the current 2014 Road Show has expanded with eight military personnel (all ranks, male and female) visiting Arsenal, Bolton Wanderers, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient, Newcastle United, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City, WBA and Wigan Athletic. The Road Show has been part of the professional Clubs Youth Football and Community Departments’ summer football programme, helping run sessions at each Club for up to 300 children aged between four and 18 years, including evening and weekend sessions with individuals with anti-social behaviour issues.
