Army On The Road Again
The projects and schemes that the Road Show Team will engage with include School Holiday Courses run by the Football in the Community departments for children between 4 and 18 years old, the Kickz Project for 12 to 21 year olds from areas suffering anti-social behaviour issues during both evening and weekend sessions and the National Citizens Service. This offers 16 to 18 year olds the opportunity to complete challenges and make friends whilst conducting numerous activities.
Activities will include an Army fun fitness warm up, Army skills stand, challenge and assault courses, coaching, small sided games and a 6 a side match between the respective clubs and Army personnel.
The Roadshow, which is now in its third year, visits the following venues:
