Marketing and Advertising

There is a marketing and communications committee formed within the Army FA.

The Army FA Marketing Committee was formed  “to support the Army FA mission by advertising, promoting and branding football in the Army and Army Football.”

Why become involved with the Army FA?

There are a host of opportunities to become involved.

During the recent past there has been a healthy increase in new sponsors within the Army FA who have been able to support specific activity within including representative football, corps, cup competitions, referees, coaching, Battleback and other areas.

The Army FA has consistently improved its focus on supply of information and involvement with soldiers and the wider domain. This includes the launch of a fresher website in addition to the establishment of its social media mechanisms, primarily Twitter and Facebook. The Soldiers' Game magazine has also become an integral publication providing excellent coverage across the whole spectrum of football in the army.

There has been considerable interest as the popular Festival of Football event has become a confirmed part of the calendar to celebrate both the Major Units Cup Final (established since 1888) and Minor Units on the same day, held at the Aldershot Military Stadium.

Sponsors are also invited to attend the annual End of Season Awards Dinner;1966 World Cup Final hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst MBE, renowned sports journalist Henry Winter and England Womens international Karen Carney have been special guests in recent years. We also regularly host our sponsors at Wembley for England internationals.

There are many objectives that the Army FA wishes to fulfil. There is a desire to welcome new and additional sponsors whilst identifying new markets and opportunities within the most popular sport in the world. It is a good time to be involved with the Army FA and to be a part of our future.
