Referees Promotions 2012-13

All Referees who are currently Level 6 and 7 who are interested in applying for promotion to be considered during 2012/13 are requested to follow the instructions below:

APPLICATION FOR PROMOTION SEASON 2012-2013

1. All Level 7 and Level 6 referees who wish to be considered for promotion during the season 2012-2013 are to apply in writing on the attached proforma to the Referees’ Secretary via email by 31st March 2012.

2. Prior to applying, applicants are reminded of the requirements for promotion laid down by the Football Association:

a. To have refereed at least 20 matches (Level 6-5 must also carry out 5 Lines).
b. To have been assessed on a minimum of 3 occasions.
c. To have attended a promotion seminar.
d. To have taken and passed an examination in the Laws of the Game.

3. Two promotion seminars which will take place in Aldershot between August-December 12. In due course, candidates will be notified of the specific dates.

*The promotion period lasts from 1 March 2012 through to 28 February 2013.
